FC West Soccer Club Financial Policy

Fees:

FC West Financial Policy requires all player accounts to be in good standing. Good standing means that all fees (registration, uniforms, tournament, team fees, etc.) are paid in full or a payment installment plan, that is satisfactory to FC West, is in place and current.


FC West may suspend a player’s playing privileges during any period that their account is not in good standing and could result in termination of a Player’s ability to play with FC West. There are no refunds upon termination of an account.


In the event of a player leaving FC West for any reason their account is required to be paid in full before their player card will be released, this includes Club and team fees.

Tournament fees that are initially scheduled on a team’s calendar will be shared with all team players whether they attend the tournament or not.

Recreational fees are considered due upon the first training session, no later than August 15th in the fall and February 15th in the spring and full payment is required prior the start of the first game of the season. Your child will NOT be placed on a team until payment to FC West has been collected.

Competitive and Developmental fees are considered due upon your acceptance to the team.

Minimum Installment plan expectations are:
This installment plan must be established with, and approved by, FC West upon acceptance to a team.
· 25% of fees are due upon acceptance to the team.
· 50% of fees are due by first tournament play and no later than 7-1.
· 75% of fees are due by 8-1
Full payment is required prior to start of the first game of the season.


REFUND POLICY:

COMPETITIVE AND DEVELOPMENTAL (N/A)

Competitive and Developmental Tryout fees are non-refundable and are not part of the registration fees. The tryout fees cover all associated costs, which include but not limited to, staff, fields and equipment.

Team fees for tournaments and uniforms are non-refundable. Upon acceptance to a competitive team refunds for Club fees are only given to families that move out of the area more than 50 miles, or in the case of injury. The FC West Board may approve other refunds due to other significant life events. There are NO other exceptions.

Refunds for players moving out of the area will be prorated based on the duration they participated during the current season, less cost paid on behalf of player for insurance, player cards, etc.

A player with injuries may be eligible for prorated refunds of Club fees for the length of time they missed. For an injured player to receive a prorated refund they must have sustained a single injury that spans an extended duration and must provide a written note from a licensed doctor\health care provider who has evaluated them and deemed them to be unfit to return to play.

The coaching staff is subject to change and no coach is guaranteed for the entire season. Refunds WILL NOT be given due to coaching staff changes or unhappiness with a coach.


RECREATIONAL

Team fees for tournaments and uniforms are non-refundable.
Recreational Refunds prior to end of Open Registration may request 100% refund minus a $20 processing fee.

After the start of the season refunds for Club fees are only given to families that move out of the area more than 50 miles, or in the case of injury as outline in the above section.

The FC West board may approve other refunds due to other significant life events.
There are NO other exceptions.

Refund Requests made before the 20th of each month will be processed by the 30th.

DISCOUNTS

Recreational Head coaches children will receive volunteer discount of free recreational registration fees. The coach must commit to coaching for the entire fall or spring season in which the discount is applied and must pass all of the requirements for coaching ( background check and concussion training) Uniform fees will still be charged at U9 and above.

Recreational assistant coaches will receive a volunteer discount of 50% off recreational registrations fees. The coach must commit to coaching for the entire fall or spring season in which the discount is applied and must pass all of the requirements for coaching. (background check and concussion training) Uniform fees will still be charged at U9 and above. There will be allowed one assistant coach discount per team.

Board Member volunteer discount: All board members who log more than an average of 3 hours of volunteer hours a week throughout the year will receive free registration (competitive and recreational) for their children. Uniform fees will still be charged.

Sibling Discount - If you have more than one child playing you will receive $10 off your registration starting with the second child up to four siblings.
